Some of the most fascinating science fiction fiction corresponds to scary phenomena in real life. A typical example, the mutated parasite in the video game series “The Last of Us”.
The creators of the franchise, which contains a show on HBO, have the idea from a kind of mushroom that kidnaps the brain of ants and kidnaps a flood of fatal spores. (Both HBO and CNN belong to the parent company Warner Bros. Discovery.)
