A Wizz Air flight from Poland Airport to London Luton was forced to make an emergency landing filled with smoke.
The crew members issued a Mayday call to help when the flight to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport was diverted in the Netherlands.
A fleet of ambulances, fire engines and a medical helicopter rose to the runway.
More than 200 passengers were evacuated from the C A321 when the airport staff examined the smoke source.
There were no reports on victims and the landing was said to be smooth. The pilots were checked by doctors, but did not need medical help.
However, it was not immediately clear what the smoke outage caused.
An emergency incident was explained on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. after the jet from Poznan Airport and Henryk Wieniawski from Poznań -ławica expired.
The plane landed in Holland about 20 minutes later, the sun reported.
A Wizz Air spokesman told BNO News: “As a recreation plan, Wizz Air immediately sent a plane from London Luton Airport to bring the affected passengers to London Luton as soon as possible.”
“The security of our passengers and our crew has great priority. We immediately keep all affected passengers up to date on developments and will provide Wizz vouchers from them.”
