Alcaraz will compete in the semifinals in the semifinals Taylor Fritz on Thursday after the American Karen Khachanov defeated four sets in four sets on Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, 29-year-old Norrie will be shot from 61st to the mid-1940s after his spirited run in Wimbledon.

Alcaraz critics said that he was too often the hard way through games, but this was a business performance on the Center Court from the World No. 2 when he brought the game to Norrie.

In the seventh meeting between the players, but the first for two years, Alcaraz met aggressive forehand winners and produced a number of great drop shots in particular in the first and second set that his opponent could not go nearby anywhere.

Norrie made the more confident start and even had four breakpoints in Alcaraz ‘first service game, but the Spaniard saves her and replied by broken Norrie in the next game.

A later break of the service in the set was secured when Alcaraz met a magician on the baseline, with Norrie progress, but was only able to see him past and land.

After Norrie lost the first set 6-2, he could not use control over the second set and was broken early. He lost it 6: 3 and was an almighty challenge to recover in the game.

With the start of the third set, the semi -finalist from 2022 produced his best tennis of the game, but a return to the last four of the competition was to prove a task for the former world No. 8.

Norrie was broken 4-2 at a time when he urged Alcaraz hard for his own break. And although he saves a match point for a company with 3: 5, he only delayed the inevitable when Alcaraz became the third youngest player at the open time, who reached three consecutive men’s semi-final in Wimbledon. Only Bjorn Borg and Rafael Nadal were younger than the 22-year-old Spaniard.

“I’m just very happy,” said Alcaraz when he then thought about the game on the pitch. “Here at Wimbledon it is really something special to be able to play another semi -finals here at Wimbledon.

“At the beginning of [first] Week just wanted to go as far as possible. It [contesting another semi-final] will be great.

“I am really happy with the level that I played against a really difficult player like cam today. He is an amazing player and there are not many players who fight as hard as he.”
