Waitrose problems urgently “eat it” warning because it remembers the popular meal about the health risk

A well -known meal is urgently called back by wait rose after it has been found that some of the packs were not properly packaged and not reported allergies.

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the Waitrose Indian Takeaway was called back for two because “some packs of spring rollers were incorrectly packed, which are not mentioned in the label.”

Anyone who has a soy or sesame allergy could be at risk.

The product in question is the Waitrose Indian Takaway for two (1,412 g pack size), which runs on July 25, 2025.

Waitrose customers who bought the article are recommended: “If you bought the above product and have an allergy to sesame and/or soy, don’t eat it. Instead, put it to your local branch for wait rose and partners to get a complete refund.”

In addition to the recall, wait rose and partners were instructed to contact the corresponding allergy groups who inform their members about the event.

The FSA said: “The company has also issued its customers a recovery notification, which explains to the customer, why the product is called back, and tells them what to do when they have bought the product.

“Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or called back if there is a risk for consumers, since allergy identification is missing or is wrong or if there is a different risk of food allergies. If there is a risk of food allergies, the FSA spends an allergy alarm.”

Sesame allergy is one of the most common and potentially dangerous food allergies, especially for young children.

The anaphylaxis, a potentially fatal reaction that can lead to the neck enlarged and breathing, can be brought through very small doses.

In the past, Sesame was not obliged to prominently marked on food labels such as nuts or dairy products, which led to a number of top -class mistakes and inquiries about stricter labeling regulations.
