Two London Gatwick flights endure within one minute with medium air and are forced to land land

Two flights on the second largest airport in Great Britain, Gatwick, suffered emergencies within 60 seconds.

According to reports, the first, a British Airways Boeing 777-200, said a full emergency due to the presence of poisonous vapors in the cabin, about an hour after the start.

The flight BA2203 to Cancun, Mexico, had to circle London for 45 minutes before returning to Gatwick on Tuesday at 3:29 p.m. at 3:29 p.m.

According to the sun, the passengers and the crew reported a smell of used socks and dizziness in the aircraft cabin.

In a statement on the standard, British Airways said: “The plane certainly landed at Gatwick after our pilots had identified a technical problem. Our customers got out normally and we apologized for the disturbance of their travel plans.”

The airline added that the service between London and Cancun had been resumed the following morning, whereby all customers were offered with hotel accommodation overnight.

Just a minute later at 3:30 p.m., Easyjet Flight Ezy8520 from Madeira reported a urgency signal “Pan Pan”, which was caused by a suspected bird strike.

As reported by the sun, the pilots of the Twin-Jet Airbus A320 called for a “continuous descent to Gatwick Airport” and “Sterile runway”.

The airline told The Standard: “Flight Ezy8520 from Funchal to London Gatwick on July 15 asked a priority landing in London Gatwick.

“The plane usually landed by emergency services in accordance with the procedures, only as a precaution.

“The security of our customers and our crew is the highest priority of Easyjet, and Easyjet operates its aircraft fleet in the strict compliance with all the manufacturers’ guidelines.”

A bird strike is when a bird collides with a plane during his flight, stands out or landed. The strikes can cause significant damage to aircraft engines, although bird strokes are rarely associated with fatal aircraft falls.

“Pan Pan” is an internationally recognized radio signal that is used to display urgent situations that are not yet life -threatening or critical. It is deliberately different from Mayday calls.
