The Whitney Houston dresses designed by Marc Bouwer and Bob Mackie are for auction

Juliens auctions announced on Wednesday that the auction of Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation will take place on August 11th in Los Angeles. The collection, which now lives on Julien’s Auction’s official website, contains a treasury of the iconic singing costumes, performance pieces, memorabilia and much more.

“Julien’s auctions is proud to work with the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation for this very special auction,” said Giles Moon, Vice President of Music with Julien. “Whitney Houston fans and collectors from all over the world will have the rare opportunity to have incredible memorabilia and artifacts from important moments of their outstanding career and at the same time make a difference, whereby 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation benefit.”

The auction will serve to support the initiatives, scholarships and services of Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, which sharpen the awareness and funds for the support of scholarships for young college students who study the arts at historically black universities and universities.

The highlights from the upcoming auction include Bob Mackie with cubes, map faces and more designed jacket on the subject of casino in Houston and more in the idiosyncratic style of Mackie. Another piece in the collection is the gold dress designed by Marc Bouwer and coordinated Turban Houston for her performance from 1994 in South Africa.

Apart from their wardrobes, Houston’s accessories are also under auction objects. A custom slot machine at home is one of the parts of the collection and in a crocodile jewelry box. Two couples from Dolce & Gabbana designed shoes and a leopard print dress and a suitable coat are also available.

HOUTON LEGACY Foundation. “For the 40th anniversary of Whitney, we have some of its unique and unique objects and clothing that Whitney carried on stage and to various A-list events and at home. The collection of these objects has brought back so many memories.
