The lessons Xabi Alonso must be learned as Real Madrid from Imperious PSG

Is it too early to name this “Vintage PSG”? This iteration of the Parisian giants has only really started in the past eight months. After Paris Saint-Germain, such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Inter Milan, fell their brilliance in Europe in Europe, their skills showed as a giant killer on the global stage.

The mighty Real Madrid, one of the biggest draw in the World Cup for the American audience, was her latest victims.

To say that Xabi Alonso gave a reality check on the really hot seat may be a bit a distance. The golf between the side he inherited and the football power package shaped by Luis Enrique was obvious before a ball occurs. But if the former midfield of Maestro has its own hopes to “modernize” in Santiago Bernabeu, he still has a long way before the Galacticos can scratch the surface of what was created in Paris.

There is no position on the pitch in which PSG has something to be desired. They are a fully functional, flawless soccer machine. Nasser al -khelaifi has put billions in this team, but now it is -without the trust of obvious superstars for their identity -that PSG is really world trees. They are already Champions of Europe, an award that is considered a holy grail, and the lifting of the Club World Cup will only feel a double stamp for their quality. At Chelsea’s expense, this eventuality feels almost inevitable.

In order to get to the final, PSG had to exceed the superpower of the game – the equivalent of football to the United States. And contrary to the widespread apathy, which expresses the competition from the entire pond, this was rightly like a high-stand game from the start. The atmosphere was a white sea in the Metlife Stadium, and both sides began to keep it in a targeted offer.

Both attacks were intended that Real Madrid registered their first efforts of the game within 74 seconds before Thibaut Courtois was called to drastic actions shortly later. Two outstanding parades, the first tipping tips by Fabian Ruiz around the post, before he refused the up-to-do Nuno Mendes in an almost impossible way of point-blank range from the rushing. But there was only so long that the big Belgian, who was in the quarters of the hero against Borussia Dortmund, could hold back the flood.

In this bad heat, Real Madrid was in hell against the PSG press. Raul Ascio was caught over an approval in his own box and Ousmane Dembele, who was down on hand after the rounds of Courtois – and was put down.

Three minutes later it was a similar story. Ascios central defender Antonio Rudiger has a return pass completely. When the German had the time to look at half, Dembele was gone with just one result in the script. PSGS Talisman sat down properly on Courtois in the lower left corner and scored 35 goals for the season.

In two goals in 10 minutes, Real Madrid tried to show signs of life and feared that it could be exposed to the same brutal fate that Inter Milan experienced in Munich. Of course, they turned to the PSG -old young Kylian Mbappe, who was now involved in a court proceedings for unpaid wages with his former employer to be the differentiator. He danced into the box past two of his ex-teammates and tried to get a meaningful shot away, but was thwarted by Imperious Captain Marquinhos, who celebrated his intervention like a goal. Today did not go to the day of Mbappe.

And it didn’t take long for PSG to cheer more. The adorable one-touch pass between Achraf Hakimi, Doue and Dembele, orchestrated, an opportunity to relieve the Moroccan Moroccan on the right, with Fabian waiting in the box. The Spaniard did not storm when he got the cross and let the desperate backtracking Federico Valverde roll over before creating a sensitive finish. Comfortable football and PSG were out of sight before the break.

Behind Donnaruma’s gate, the small designated section of the Hardcore PSG fans was completely surrounded by anesthetized white shirts in their seats. No wonder that they were the only ones who were now making the noise. This PSG page is more numerous or not, does not need a “12th man” to do the business.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had punished Real’s Right-Side in trademarks throughout the competition, and bullyed one outside of the Valverde position, whose accident was against the Georgian. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who watched the stands from the stands after giving the competition through injury, would have poured much better.

But it was Dembele that used the left flank for the fourth of PSG, just two minutes after the restart, only for his run, which was only assessed off the side. The unpredictable formability of Enriques Front-Drei makes it much more difficult to handle and contributes to the highest individual quality in each of Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Doue.

A current exhaustion. This was real, the damage had already been done. Their substitutions in the second half stated that Alonso’s towel had been thrown, who spent Vinicius JR and Jude Bellingham and replaced them by veterans Luka Modric (40) and Dani Carvajal, who returned only 10 days ago from an ACL tear after spending 268 on the treatment table. Against the all-action incarnation of PSG, this felt like a death sentence for the two long Madrid legends, whereby this was a final act in White before he ended his glittering 13-year stay.

This was not recovered for Real Madrid. It had felt so much since the sixth minute when Goncalo Ramos put four suffering from Real in the late stages to make it four. Just like teammate Dembele in front of him, he celebrated by honing the death of friend and international teammate Diogo Jota and replicating his synonyms Playstation celebration. With 4: 0, the referee saw no need for an interruption time – an act out of mercy.

Another example from a European giant, Enrique, further justified his philosophical transformation in Paris, who was allowed to move from Mbappes exit to Madrid. The focus on the collective towards the individual is obvious and openly effective. It is an approach that Xabi Alonso apparently wants to mimic because he thinks about his new “Dream Team” with stars, which ends the season without trophies.

For PSG a four -time could be on the road. Chelsea has evaluated the final of the club world champion, partly thanks to the fact that they avoided the heavily stacked side of the draw, which included the European Champions as well as Real, Dortmund and Bayern Munich. Enzo Maresca cannot escape them further. And after he has triggered the latest heavyweight from Paris power cold, it is not an exaggeration to say that the ambitious blues hopes for a miracle that comes in the States on Sunday afternoon.
