The former Wales boss Rob Page closes Liverpool

Liverpool has appointed former Wales manager Rob Page as head coach of her U21-year-old.

Page, who led Wales in two of the four big tournaments in its history, has returned to coaching to replace Barry Lewtas, who resigned at the beginning of this month.

The 50-year-old is a former manager of Wales U21 before becoming Ryan Giggs’ assistant to the senior side and then taking responsibility when the former Manchester United player was put on vacation.

Page brought Wales to the last 16 euros 2020 and then her first World Cup in 64 years, although in 2022 she only earned one point in Qatar.
