SpaceX has delivered a new astronaut crew to the international space station and took the trip in just 15 hours.
The four astronauts from America, Russia and Japan came from the Kennedy Space Center of NASA on the ISS after the start.
You will spend about six months to circle the laboratory, simulate and test the lunar scenarios of how the gravity shifts affect your ability to pilot spaceships.
The Zena -Cardman of NASA and Mike Fincke, Kimiya Yui and Russia’s Oleg Platonov, replace four astronauts that have been up there since March.

“Hello, space station!” Mr. Fincke sparkled high above the South Pacific.
“We have cold drinks, hot food and we are waiting – we’ll see you soon,” said the ISS crew shortly after contact with the newcomers.
Your flight to the ISS was quick according to US standards, although the Russians have the record for the fastest trip – three hours. Your arrival means that 11 members temporarily live on the space station. The ISS, which has been continuously inhabited since 2000, acts as a test bed for research that supports deeper space research, including future missions on Mars.
As part of their stay, the crew-11 astronauts simulate the lunar land scenarios, which could occur near the moon-south pole under the artemis program led by the USA. With the help of hand controllers and several display screens, they also test how shifts in gravity affect the ability of the astronauts to pilot spaceships.

Among the colorful freight articles from Crew-11 are Armenian pomegranate seeds, which are compared with a control stack on earth to examine how the microgravity influences harvest growth.
The ISS is to be shut down after 2030, whereby its orbit is gradually reduced until it breaks out in the atmosphere above a remote part of the Pacific Ocean called Point Nemo, a spacecraft cemetery.
All four astronauts were originally not classified for this mission. MS Cardman was pulled out of another SpaceX flight last year to make room for two NASA astronauts -Butch Wilmore and Sununi Williams -whose stay at the space station took nine months instead of a week.
Mr. Fincke and Mr. Yui had originally trained for the next Boeing Starliner mission, which was founded by litter problems by 2026. Mr. Platonov was supposed to join the Soyuz start -up site a few years ago a few years ago before he failed due to illness.
