Scheffler crosses British Open to follow perfection

Scottie Scheffler started his week at the British Open and thought about “the point” after his persecution after perfection, but still drove away from the field to raise the Claret mug for the first time.

Scheffler’s four-stroke victory at Royal Portrush was already his fourth this year, despite a slow start after a freak handicraft, which was caused by broken glass when he made pasta.

Since the Houston in March, the 29-year-old has not been the world’s best in 11 tournaments in front of the top 10 stamp of his status.

This run included great victories both in the PGA Championship and British Open to bring it into a US Open victory, to join the six men to have won the career -Grand Slam.

Rory McIlroy was the last one who joined this selected club when he won the Masters in April.

But the second world of the world is also overwhelmed by Scheffler’s consistent excellence, since McIlroy was unable to pursue the only man on the planet who is currently better with a club in his hand.

“Scottie Scheffler is inevitable,” said Mcilroy. “He’s just so solid. He doesn’t make mistakes.”

Scheffler’s dominance about the rest of the field has drawn comparisons with the 15-time large champion of Woods.

Matt Fitzpatrick called “Tiger-Like” his play partner on Saturday and there are a number of statistics to secure this claim.

He is the first player since Woods who crosses 100 consecutive weeks as number one in the world.

Scheffler’s seven PGA tour last year has been the most since Woods in 2007 and he is now the second player who won the British Open while he has number one.

This success is a relentless work morality, even if it sometimes even causes Scheffler to ask himself why he is pushing for the maximum.

“We work so hard for such little moments,” he said on the eve of the British Open. “I am a kind of illness; I love to enter the work. I love to practice. I love to live out my dreams. But sometimes at the end of the day I just don’t understand the point.”

For those who try to catch him, it seems to be worth the hard work.

“At the beginning of this year, when we checked the statistics, Scheffler continued in front of the second world when I was on 15th or 16th to second place,” said World No. 14 Robert Mcintyre. “He is an extraordinary player and a great guy and works so hard.”

Scheffler’s dominance on the PGA Tour begins to show in his main record.

His four majors came in the last 16 events, a record that could have been even better, but for a remarkable incident as a PGA championship of the past year, which checked its progress.

The mild mannte Scheffler was arrested on the morning of his second round because he had tried to work outside the course for a traffic jam.

Although he was bundled to a police station and had taken his search photo in an orange overall, he was released in time to make the tee and shot a five-off-saving 66.

The tribute came the following day when his series of 42 consecutive rounds of the par or better ended and he ended with a tie for eighth place.

All fees were then fallen and the business was soon normal on the course.
