Rinder -Cull forces change to the Tour de France Stage Route

Changes to 19th level 19 of the Tour de France were made on Friday because the cows take place in the Saisies region.

The discovery of an infectious disease in cattle has led to the route from 129.9 kilometers to just 95 km with two climbing and 11.3 km long Cote d’Ery-sur-Ugine and the 13.7 km COL of the Saisies-.

An outbreak of the nodular dermatitis meant that the herd affected had to be selected, and the racing organizers made the decision to distract the route from the farmers concerned.

In an explanation in front of the stage of Albertville-La Plagne it says in the tour: “The discovery of an outbreak of an infectious nodular dermatitis, the cattle in a herd that is specifically in the Saisies Col, concerns the legs of the animals.

“In view of the farmers affected by the affected farmers and in order to preserve the smooth run of the race, it was decided in accordance with the responsible authorities to change the route from Level 19 (Albertville -La -Plagne) and to avoid the rise to the COL des Saissies.

“The ceremonial start takes place as planned at the end of Albertville. After a 7 km long parade, the drivers will go towards D925, where the official start is given.

“The race will then be returned to the original route shortly before Beaufort (with 52.4 km 52.4 according to the original schedule).

“Due to this change, which is in particular the COL of the Saisie, the stage will now cover a total removal of 95 km instead of the originally planned 129.9 km.”

During the 18th level 18 on Thursday, Tadej Pogacar conquered his demons on the Col de la Loze to extend his advantage in yellow in the middle of a hailstorm when Ben O’Connor concludes the stage victory.

On the mountain, in which Pogacar was known to be cracked in 2023 when Jonas Vingegaard rode to his second tour crown, Pogacar was the only time later when he increased 11 seconds to a total preload at the summit, which is now four minutes over Vingegaard.
