Return to the form for talented swindon motorcyclists

David Lindemann from Swindon continued his impressive return to the shape with a podium and double points at Brands Hatch.

After a steady weekend at the World Superbike stage in Donington Park, David Lindemann put on the first round of the sixth Ajn Steelstock Limited in the sixth round of the Ajn Steelstock Limited Kawasaki.

Qualifying Tenth on the Grid for the first race, David gave a great launchpad. Immediately he got to work and used a few early laps to build his trust.

In the second half, he locked himself into an intensive fight with those around him. Although he ended races one in the seventh race, it could have been fourth, since only 0.9 seconds separated the fourth to tenth.

His violent driving in the first race set him up for a fifth place in races.

He had a good start, but was pushed on druids and fell to seventh place, but an incident in which the driver was fifth in front of him.

David used the opening rounds to settle down into his rhythm before chasing them in advance.

In the middle of the race he gave the drivers to get the podium while he could have made second place-a later thrust of exceeding the bike, so he only ended 1.4 seconds behind the second rider after going back for 4 seconds.

A solid weekend for David and a positive change that will be put into the summer break in the summer break in September and the seventh round of the Donington Park.

He said; “What a weekend. I am absolutely buzzing and it feels amazing to have the feeling on the bike again. I can’t thank everyone who supported me this weekend and the season.”

“There was definitely a chance to get a second place in the second race, but I wanted to bring the bike to the end of the race and enjoy the podium.

“The first race was incredible, so close to five other drivers and in every round to exchange the positions. The battle was incredible. I loved it every minute.”

Gareth Lindemann, dad and team manager, said: “After the first half of the season it was nice to see all our hard work and perseverance for this weekend.

“David did it very well and drove two very mature races. I can’t thank everyone who helped us enough this season – that’s podium for them.”
