Phil Collins has published a health update in the middle of claims that he is in a hospice.
Last week rumors circulated online that the 74-year-old music icon lay on his deathbed.
However, a representative of the former Genesis drummer and the front man insists that this is not the case and that he is currently in the hospital after knee operation.
The further day in the paradise hit manufacturer has been significant health challenges over the years, including permanent nerve damage due to a spine injury suffered in 2007.
Despite these difficulties, his spokesman emphasized that Collins is not in the care of life.

These recent false reports have caused a worrying at the fans, but seem to have been fueled by Collins’ own earlier comments on his health struggles.
In an interview with the Mojo Magazin 2022 2022 after Genesis Final concert in the London O2 Arena, Collins spoke openly about his illness and the dwindling motivation to record new music.
“I keep thinking that I should go down into the studio and see what happens, but I’m no longer hungry for it,” he said. “The thing is, I was sick – I mean very sick.”
Peter Gabriel, founding member of Genesis, took part in the farewell concert and thought about Collin’s’ condition: “Phil was not as big as before, but they did a great job.”
Although Gabriel did not appear, he described as a “transition rite” and explained: “I was part of the creation of Genesis, so I wanted to be there in the end.”
Collins withdrew from Live appearances due to physical restrictions in 2022 after he had previously shown that he could hardly hold a drum stick due to his nerve damage caused by his vertebral violation.
While Genesis 2021 The Last Domino? Tour, his 24-year-old son Nic entered the drummer and supported his father on stage.
“It is very frustrating because I would like to play up there with my son,” said Collins BBC breakfast 2021: “I’m a bit physically challenged.”
Collins, who is married three times, is also the father of four other children: actor Joely, 52; Drummer Simon, 48; Emily in Paris Star Lily, 36; and football player Mathew, 20.
