By setting up a browser instead of creating a browser expansion, Openai can enable more control over the data collecting by it, which improves the ability of the AI agent to support users.
Many AI users may find the messages exciting with the view that a KI browser could save time by quickly searching the Internet, filling out forms, making appointments or reservations and much more. Online shopping could become an optimized process if the browser predicts as some predictions.
However, the AI browser is also controversial, especially with those who already fear that growing technology will encourage people to be lazy and not to use their cognitive skills.
