Newcastle United Women has signed the signing of the former English international Jordan Nobbs after its departure from Aston Villa.
Nobbs, who grew up in Stockton and grew up in Bishop Middleham near Ferryhill, has returned to their homeland northeast after the past 15 years, who has spent in the Super League of women with Arsenal and Aston Villa in the past 15 years. She currently holds the record for most WSL appearances with a total of 208.

Now 32, the Nobbs career began in Sunderland and drove to Arsenal in 2010. In more than 12 years with the Gunners, she achieved 270 appearances and scored 81 goals. She won 12 domestic trophies in North London, including three WSL titles and four FA trophies.
The midfielder switched to Villa in January 2023 and appeared 67 appearances for the Midlands Club.

Nobbs was part of the Löwnes squad, who took second place in the Women’s World Championship in 2023.
When Nobbs signed for Newcastle and said: “I think you are a very ambitious club and the goal is to promote and push women’s football in the northeast. I want to be part of it.
