Wanderers fans can see a train this morning, while the club opens the goals to the trailers at 11 a.m. before the complete Squad setup signed autographs at 1:45 p.m. in the club’s Wellbeing hub next to the ticket office.

Burstow is very interested in returning to the form of the gate, which he after the breakthrough in the first division with Charlton Athletic and Chelsea’s set-up, which led to a premier League debut under Mauricio Pochettino.

“I knew that Bolton needed a striker and I am glad that they decided to go with me,” he said.

“I had a few conversations with the gaffer about our plans and ideas for the season and they were aligned.

“Playing nine is definitely my main position and where I want to play. I made sure that this conversation came here before arriving, so it seems to be the plan.”

Burstow signed Hull from Chelsea last summer for a reported £ 2 million, but found himself on the backfoot after being played on the wing under Tim Walter.

He only achieved twice in 32 appearances, but has made it to experience and now hopes to get back on the right track with Bolton.

“It was a tough season personally,” he said about his start at Hull. “I played on the left, which I usually don’t do. I prefer to play as nine.

“The club didn’t play as well as we wanted, not as high as we wanted, so it was another learning curve that can only be a good thing.

“Loans were the original plan to get more playing time in my original position, but I wished for the season.

“You are a good group of boys and are with you in the previous season, as I did. I hope you can do well.”

Burstow is looking for stability after starting a new club in the past three years.

Before he arrived in Hull, he was loaned from Chelsea to Sunderland, who experienced a difficult 2023/24 12 months earlier.

The magic on Wearside only brought one goal in 20 appearances, but the young striker believes that he has taken something out of experience.

“It was a big club with great expectations,” he recalled. “It was not quite planned, but it was one of these things, a learning curve and probably the first Blip I had in my career. But I think that prepared me well.

“It helped me to learn the game at the championship level, Charlton was League 1 and the Chelsea stint was only as long as it was.

“I would have liked to have had a better season and I think the club would have expected more of itself, but it is one of these things, they jump off.

“There have been some changes in recent years, different clubs, so hopefully I can run here and settle down pretty quickly.”

After Burstow was achieved in a friendly in Stockport for Hull last weekend, he already has a good grip for what he travels to Edgeley Park this weekend.

Although he has arrived in Bolton too late for an encouraging pre -season, the former English youth internationally believes that he can contribute to a successful year under Steven Schumacher.

“I think the club inevitably gets high and hopefully I can help him over the line,” he said.

“In the recent past, it was obviously upset in the play-offs and something like that, but it is always a club that you look at and think that you are better than League 1, so hopefully I can help.

“The season begins on Sunday. It will be good to meet the boys, to settle down immediately with the other new boys and come to a flyer.”
