The deduction of the British by Old Trafford – a loan with a season with a purchase option of 30.3 million GBP – was confirmed by the Spanish champion today.

The 27-year-old will spend more time outside of his youth club after falling out of favor last season under Ruben Amorim. He left Aston Villa in January and scored four times in 17 games before suffering a thigh injury at the end of the season.
He will now turn his attention to a title defense of La Liga and he will bear the squad number of a proven title winner.
Rashford will compete on Pablo Torres No14 shirt, Barcelona has now confirmed.
About 18 years ago, this shirt belonged to the legendary Thierry Henry, who achieved 76 goal contributions in 121 appearances for the Blaugrana. In his time he won two titles in La Liga with the Catalan outfit and also raised the Champions League in 2008/09.

Rashford did no secret for his admiration for Henry throughout his career and admitted that he idolized the striker as a child.
“I see myself thought in Henry,” he said in June. “He plays on the left and also in the middle. He is a free player.
“In development, position number 9 has become more comfortable and natural.
“Things like playing with my back to the goal become easier for me. They are always in front of the goal and always dangerous.”
Rashford, who wore a large part of his united career in his work in the villa and No10 NO9, will probably play Raphhinha in a supporting role that offers the urgently needed depth on the left flank.
According to the conditions of the loan, Rashford’s full wages of Barcelona are covered despite their rocky financial state. However, he took a reduction in wages of 25% to get the deal over the line.
