A SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket starts 28 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on May 6, 2025 | Credit: SpaceX
SpaceX plans to start the third batch of satellites for the Amazon Project Kuiper Broadband -Megakonstellation on early Wednesday morning (July 16) and you can watch the action live.
A Falcon 9 rocket with 24 Kuiper-Handwerk is to take off on Wednesday by Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida in a 27-minute window, which is open at 2:18 a.m. Edt (0618 GMT).
Incidentally, Wednesday is the 56th anniversary of Apollo 11 start. This famous NASA mission brought Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the surface of the moon on July 20, 1969.
SpaceX will stream the Kuiper Live project via its website and his X account. The cover begins about 15 minutes in front of the fabric.
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s version of Starlink, the broadband megaconstellation, which runs SpaceX in Low Earth Orbit (Leo). Kuiper will eventually consist of more than 3,200 satellites that will bring more than 80 starts to the market in the coming years. (The Starlink network, which is already in operation, consists of almost 8,000 satellites – and this number grows constantly.)
The start on Wednesday morning will be the third of this mission. The first two Kuiper lifts were performed in April and June this year by United Launch Alliance Atlas against Rockets.

If during the mission on Wednesday, which calls SpaceX KF-01, the plan will return to Earth 9.5 minutes after the start. On the SpaceX dronship “a lack of gravitas” will land that will be stationed in the Atlantic.
According to a SpaceX mission description, it will be the first start and landing for this special booster. This is a rarity because SpaceX is known for its reuse of rockets. One of the company’s Falcon 9 Booster has a whopping 29 starts in the belt.
The upper stage of the Falcon 9 will continue to bring the 24 -project -Kuiper satellite to Leo. They are used at an altitude of 465 kilometers over a span of almost eight -minute, which begins about 56 minutes after the start. The Kuiper trade will later increase its orbits to its final height of 630 km (392 miles).
