Leiding tourists transform the beauty square on the river into ‘Mini Glastonbury’

A beauty spot on the river near a rural scene was compared to a “Mini Glastonbury” after it was decorated by garbage.

Dedham Vale Nature Reserve is a designated area with outstanding natural beauty that is famous for its water meadows and the river gate.

The village is half a mile away from the iconic scene of Constable’s ‘The Hay Wain’ – a famous landscape painting by John Constable from 1821, which shows the river glittering in the sun.

But the small village in Essex with a population of 1,907 has visited more and more tourists due to the recent magic with hot weather.

The residents say that visitors “ruthless behavior

The affected residents said that the village had been clouded by visitors in the past few weeks who operated “ruthless behavior” during the heat waves.

In a video that was published on social media on June 30th, Tory City Councilor Darius Laws compared the scenes with the Glastonbury Festival of the last month.

He joked: “You would think that there was a headlines.

“It will be forgiven that you think I’m in Glastonbury,” he said. “No, F-DAS, LINKE, so-called green, hippies. No, I’m in Dedham.”

The CLLR laws asked tourists to “follow the country’s code” and to pick up a waste.

Cllr Thomas Rowe’s conservative people repeated the concerns: “Remember, remember, this is not a festival, it is a village.”

The CLLR laws added: “Hopefully, people have trust to tell people that they should absorb their garbage and act appropriately.

“The amount of garbage and ruthless behavior that we see is really worrying. It looked like a mini-glastonbury. The trash cans were overcrowded, people had thrown empty boxes with beer, vape wrapper had been dropped to the ground.”

He added: “This is a beautiful part of the country and it is not fine. It makes the local animal world sick and ruins nature.

“We are welcome to visitors, but you have to be responsible.”

The paintings by Constable idealized rural life in a time of political turbulence and industrial transformation.

His most famous, The Hay Wain, shows a large peasant car that is pulled through the river strap.

In the Lake District, garbage and thrown away camping equipment also led to an increase in complaints from residents who claim that they were “broken” by the behavior.

Camper, which used sights around Ullswater Lake and Glencoyne Bay in Cumbria, were accused of having chopped off trees for firewood, playing loud music through portable speakers, smoking cannabis and doing wild animals. A resident claimed that they had found a 12-inch zombie knife thrown away at one of the locations.

The Colchester County Council said that they support the campaign and ask the visitors to remove their waste.
