Laura Weir’s first list of London Fashion Week increases to 18 percent

London – In the first London Fashion Week under the leadership of Laura Weir, 18 percent more designers are presented on schedule. The British Fashion Council released the preliminary schedule for the 2026 spring season for September 18 to September 22nd.

The new BFC Chief Executive Officer said that autumn will greet it as the beginning of a “brave new age” that will signal a designer-first approach for the 41-year-old London Fashion Week, which is “ambitious and in the creative energy of London”.

“I intend to build on the Foundations of London Fashion Week by focusing on the cultural relevance, global competitiveness and sensible support for designers,” added Weir, who unveiled a number of important strategic updates on Monday to revive the fashion industry for British designers in Great Britain and globally.

The most important changes included the statement fees for designer members who are physically available on the main plan and the doubling of the investment in the host program.

At the five-day event, starting and landingways, including Burberry, Erdem, Simone Rocha, Roksanda, Richard Quinn, Emilia Wickstead, Labrum London and Harris Reed, will continue to keep the fashion industry in the city.

JW Anderson will organize an event with the BFC on September 19 to celebrate the relaunch of the brand after her founder Jonathan Anderson officially lands the top job at Dior after months of speculation.

Aufstunge brands such as Chopova Lowena, Priya Ahluwalia, Marques’almeida and Patrick McDowell, this year’s Winner of Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, will bring back their runway reends this season, while Buzzy names such as Conner Ies, Paolo Carzana, and Lulu Kennedy’s Emerging Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Talent -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion -Fashion.

H&M also returns to London Fashion Week in autumn. A coed runway show presents its collections in the autumn 2025. The Swedish fast fashion brand has advertised a comprehensive fashion experience that includes visuals and music with an atmosphere that aims to emphasize self-portrayal and modern style.

The newcomers of Runway Showcase This autumn include Dreaming Eli, Kseniaschnaider, Kyle Ho, Lucia Safdie, Rory William butery and the adaptive label Unhidden.

Designers in the BFC Newgen program will show both physically and digitally with those that can be seen, including Aaron Esh, Derrick, Johanna Parv, Karoine Vitto, Louther, Oscar Ouyang, Steve O Smith, Tolu Coker and Aletta, the young brand, which was founded by Freddy Coomes and Matt Empringham.

The “City Wide Celebration” initiative by Consumer City Wide will again be national with brand experiences and activations in Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and London.

The City Wide Celebration supports the London Fashion Week sponsor 1664 Blanc and includes a new series of educational talks with Barbour, Matty Bovan, Patrick McDowell, SS Daley, Talia Byre and the winter house.
