Wallabies trainer Joe Schmidt admitted that he was “massively relieved” after Skipper Harry Wilson had a last attempt to refuse a brave Fiji 21-18 on Sunday and to avoid an embarrassing defeat from the British and Irish Lions series.

The Fiji skipper Tevita Ikaniverere said that he was “very proud of my brothers”.
“It is a disappointing loss to lose at the last minute, but grateful that they gave everything today,” he added.
“In the first half we lacked intelligence, but I think we made up for it again in the second half.”
