With warmer weather and the school holidays on the horizon, many families will be looking for fun summer activities on the hunt that do not break the bank. And if you have a day that is completely free, you are lucky.
The National Trust offers a limited number of free family passes worth up to 50 pounds worth up to £ 50 in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Around 145,000 passes are available online via The Mirror, Daily Express, in Yourarea app and several regional newspaper websites from today. Or you can pick up a printed voucher in copies of the Daily Star, Daily Mirror, Daily Express and OK by Sunday, July 13th.
From stately houses to medieval castles, the pass enables historical properties to be visited across the country, many with amazing terrain and forests in which the children can walk around.

How many people is the passport?
The National Trust Family Pass is valid for one day and enables two adults and up to three children or one adult and up to four children. Children are classified at the age of five to 17, and under subjects are free at National Trust Properties.
The passport usually costs about £ 30 to 50, depending on the property you visit.
If you do not take children, the pass can also be used by two adults.
When can I use it?
Your passport can be used from Tuesday, July 8th to Sunday, August 31, 2025. Therefore, this is an ideal option for a day during the summer vacation.
However, the holiday weekend is excluded, which means that you cannot use your passport between Saturday, 23rd and Monday, August 25th.
In which properties can I use the National Trust Free Pass?
There are more than 200 participating venues to choose from.
You can all display them on the National Trust website, but examples are Bodiam Castle, a moist castle from the 14th century in Sussex, where medieval characters are brought to life during living history. You can also explore the Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal in North Yorkshire, where you can explore 900 -year -old ruins, water gardens, the Deer Park and the adventure playground.
