Singular talent: Givenchy Beauty appointed the recognized Chinese actress Zhao Liying as the latest global brand ambassador on Tuesday.
The brand said Zhao would help the brand to make a new chapter in the make -up vertical, as it is wearing an almond terracotta color in the campaign for Le Rouge Velvet’s new Lipstick in the campaign.

Zhao was often celebrated as the queen of the day -like TV dramas in China and achieved “The Story of Minglan” and Xu Banxia in “Wild Bloom” Hua Qiangu in “The Journey of Flower”, Sheng Minglan.
These roles helped her to achieve top awards in some of the estimated prices of China in the television industry: the China TV Drama Flying Awards for outstanding actress, Golden Eagle Award for the best leading actress and a hundred Flowers Award for the best supporting actress.
Zhao has also steadily entered the film industry. Her presentation of a hearing -impaired mother in a famous director Zhang Yimou’s Lunar New Year Hit “Article 20” last year achieved her universal praise in the Chinese social media.
This year she was also part of the excited crime thriller film “She Got No Name” directed by Peter Chan. Zhao plays Xi Lin, a high-speed divorce, which is also a playwright, during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai in the 1940s.
From July 2025, her name was mentioned 11.2 billion times on China’s popular social commerce platform Xiaohongshu, and she has more than 92 million followers on Weibo.
