The former boss of Carlisle United, Paul Simpson, has returned to the training grounds with the non -League Club Carlisle City.
The former blues boss helped this week in the Northern League Club.
And City says that you may be able to call the experienced trainer for “the next few weeks”.

The club based in Gillford Park said that they were pleased to welcome Simmo in their last period of pre-season session.
City chief Dan Kirkup, who was a united player while Simpson’s first spell in Brunton Park, said that the 58-year-old had contacted to offer his services.
City announced that “The Legend Paul Simpson” was a “surprise guest” who took part in the first team session on Thursday evening.
“Paul contacted the manager Dan Kirkup at the beginning of this week to help us in a voluntary role before starting his new job at the end of August,” said the club.
“Paul wanted to get back into the grass and took meetings before his new job.

“Without hesitation, Dan and assistant Mark Boyd jumped the offer of his voluntary services.”

Kirkup added: “To get a call from Simmo, who may offer his services for the next few weeks of the pre -season and take sessions before starting his new job, was a child’s play.
“Simmo is a man that I respect so much and a legend of the city.
“In order for him to come and help me, skip [Boyd] And the team will only get us in good condition to start the season.
“In addition, I and Skip can learn from Simmo in a short time and hopefully come out of what he needs.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for the players to learn from an elite trainer who has done what he has in the game.”
Simpson has further connections to Carlisle City with his nephew Josh Simpson as captain of the club.
Until recently, Simpson’s son Jake was in the club’s books before moving to Kilmarnock as head of sports science.
The triple promotion-coated former United Manager, whose second spell ended with the blues last August, has been deputy head of the Jamaica national team since March.
City’s statement, however, indicates that the coach, born in Carlisle, could play a different role later this summer.
City starts her campaign of Northern League Division 1 on July 26 with a house against Shildon.
Kirkup’s team was 18th place and won the Fred Conway Cumberland Cup last season.
