He immediately looked into serious difficulties and England confirmed that he probably does not play any other role in the game with bat or ball.
You have left some Wolde room by suggesting that he will remain in the team for observation, but it is difficult to imagine that the 36-year-old is put into practice in an emergency.
A team spokesman said: “England Seamer Chris Woakes will continue to be monitored in the course of the fifth Rothesay test in the Kia Oval after a left -wing shoulder injury has suffered against India on the first day.
“At this stage, the injury excluded him from a further participation in the test. At the end of the series, another rating is carried out.”

The game ended on the first day when India 204-6 decided for the first time after the three lions were completed.
England had already been depressed by injuries before the determination in Südlondon, with captain Ben Stokes himself excluded a shoulder injury, while Brydon Care and Jofra Archer were left out of the squad to manage their workload.
Mark Wood and Olly Stone are also long-term absences, even though the latter continues along his comeback path.
The violation of Woakes leaves the hosts with Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton and Josh Tongue as Front -Seamers, and they can also rely on the Spin delivery of Jacob Bethell and Joe Root.
The Brendon McCullum team has to avoid defeat to win the series.
