England is until the European U21 championship final after the end of the Netherlands.
Harvey Elliott from Liverpool was the hero for Lee Carsley’s side with two breathtaking goals of the second half on both sides of Noah Ohios, as impressive for the Dutch.

As a result, the young Lions – who lifted the trophy two years ago – remain on course to be back in Bratislava on Saturday to defend their European U21 championship crown against Germany.
England was the dominant team in the first half, but had nothing to show for their efforts. Ipswich’s Omari Hutchinson was the outstanding player and created a chance within the first three minutes for Elliott, who was rejected by Robin Roefs by a really impressive rescue.
Roefs was put into action again to keep Elliott’s efforts away on his almost post before the Dutch goalkeeper raced from his line to suffocate the ball at the feet of James Mcatee who tried to find a cheeky finish.
Alex Scott then saw a shot over the bar in the final action of half.

The Netherlands started the second half of the two teams to their honor, with the full -back of Aston Villa Ian Maatsen James Beadle forcing a full route after an effort from a distance.
In many ways, the opening goal against the game was easy when Elliott shot an effort into the roof of the network after a quick counterattack.
However, the lead lasted every 10 minutes when the replacement was compensated for Noah Ohio with his very first touch of the ball for the Netherlands when he caught his line from his line with a fine finish.
With the game in extra time and potential punishments, Elliott made the difference to a moment of magic. Miss a few challenges before finding the lower corner to book England’s place in the final.
