England defeated the old rival Germany in an exciting final in the U21 European Championship, with the Young Lions winning their title defense by an extension winner by the replacement Jonathan Rowe.

England had given a lead of two goals late in the first half, but some inspired replacement by manager Lee Carsley made the difference when they ultimately won 3-2 in Bratislava.

It brings England’s overall route to four titles, but they became the final of a German team who came to the final as favorites and had hit the young lions in the group stage.

England took the lead in the fifth minute when Omari Hutchinson had saved his efforts by the goalkeeper and Harvey Elliott, who had time and space to choose his place and to control a deep shot near the post, fell a defense approval.

The man from Liverpool began moving for England’s second goal with a thrown pass on the way of James Mcateee, and when the midfielder blocked his route from two defenders, he put the ball Hutchinson, who bored his strike through the goalkeeper’s legs.

Hutchinson said goodbye to the celebration after his goal, but Germany withdrew in the additional time before the break. Paul Nebel crossed from the wing and Nelson Weiper climbed unchallenged to supply a ball headball past the English goalkeeper James Beadle.

The equalizer came from a corner chicken in the 61st minute, which drove far in the area to fog and drove the ball into the top top corner.

Both sides have created further opportunities, but none could require the moment of quality in the normal time. England went forward within two minutes after more time when Tyler Morton went home a perfect ball in the box and the non -marked Jonathan Rowe, who also came from the bank.

Rowe had only been on the pitch for two minutes after Elliott – who was later awarded the player of the tournament award, was replaced with five goals and an enormous contribution to the success of England at the end of the normal time.

Germany continued to press when the minutes passed, but this time there was no way back when England held firmly despite the relentless pressure.

The replacement of Merlin Rohl rattled the woodwork late in the extension with a diving volley, which she almost sent to punish, while James Beadle was forced into a late minute at the last minute, but it should be heartbreaking for Germany and joy for England again.
