The crescent moon will shine on July 23 near the gas giant Jupiter in the morning sky, whereby its shadow disk is gently illuminated by sunlight, which is reflected by the earth’s surface, a ghostly effect that is known as earth
Look east at 4 a.m., shortly before dawn, shortly before dawn to see how the slim shape of the crescent moon climbed over the horizon. Jupiter, who appears as a bright “star”, sits about 5 degrees to the right of the moon – approximately the combined width of your index, center and ring finger, which are held against the night sky at the length of the arms!
Venus will shine upwards in the sky in front of Jupiter in the sky and a fleeting cosmic triangle with the red supergiant Star Betelgeuse, which will appear at the eastern horizon deep before it disappears in the light of the emerging sun.
Through a telescope with a panel of 6 inches or more, the audience can observe the four brightest moons of Jupiter, IO, Europe, Ganyymede and Callisto as well as the gigantic layers of clouds of the planet’s planet. However, care must be taken to point out a telescope or binoculars in the direction of the rising sun, as this can lead to a permanent loss of vision.

In the nights that surround the new moon on July 24, you may notice that a soft light appears the moon slices of this phenomenon, which is often referred to as the earthhine or the “Da Vinci glow”, occurs when sunlight bounces off the earth, and illuminates the night out of the moon and is often visible when the moon is a thin cresent.

This gentle glow shows the huge basalt levels of the moon sea, which darken the surface of the moon. The formations were created billions of years ago when the old lava flows flooded a network of gigantic impact basins that were left behind by cataclysmic asteroid strikes that later hardened to renew the surface of the moon.
The dark nights on both sides of the new moon phase offer a perfect opportunity to recognize the diffuse light that has been poured by the Pleiles Open Star clusters-a gravitically bound collection of over 1,000 star bodies, which circle around 410 light years from the earth in the Milky Way. The Pleiades will be visible on the night of July 23 as a haunted light shot from a dark sky in the upper right right right of Venus. A few of 10×50-longing glasses enable the spectators to choose the most prominent of the blue and white stars, while a small telescope dissolves a much larger number.
