The European company EOS X Space has acquired the space perspective, one of its most important competitors in the resulting area of stratospheric balloon tourism.

In Florida, the space perspective is based on a luxury balloon called Spaceship Neptune, which is supposed to transport passengers for leisurely travel through the stratosphere for $ 125,000 per session.

The space perspective has made serious progress over the years and even started a complete (if not triggered) test flight of the first spaceship Neptune, which has Excelsior named Excelsior, to a maximum height of about 30,000 feet (30,480 meters) in September 2024. However, the company has recently fell difficult times.

In short, the Space perspective solved almost its entire workforce in January and was sold a few months later by Florida Airport, in which, according to media reports, several of its institutions took place.

The acquisition by EOS X Space therefore seems to be a leash. The Space Perspective “will work with full autonomy under the US leadership and corporate structure,” said EOS X World Commercial representative on Thursday (July 24) in an e -mail declaration.

The efforts of the space perspective will be received with those of the EOS X Space, based in Madrid, an aerospace outfit founded in 2020 that was worked on its own balloon tourism system.

“This is a historical opportunity for two former competitors to join together and make manned space tourism reality,” said the founder and CEO of EOS X Space, Kemel Kharbachi, in the same explanation.

EOS X Space Views The acquisition, the terms of which have not been announced, as an opportunity to join the top level of space tourism providers, which currently consists of SpaceX (for orbital flights) as well as blue origin and young galactics that offer both rocket-powered trips to and from suborbital space. (Of course, balloon-handed capsules do not reach space, but they allow the passengers to see the curve of our planet against the Tinke emptiness.)

The move also enables EOS X Space to extend its operations and its influence on the United States. The company said that two important websites will soon have in the USA – a room camp at NASAS Kennedy Space Center in Florida for balloon flights and a research and development facility in Silicon Valley, California. Finally, EOS X Space plans to shift its global operational headquarters to the USA

“This is not just a strategic acquisition. It is an explanation of our long -term vision,” said Kharbachi. “We build a scalable, ethical and efficient place platform, which is powered by innovation, purpose and excellence.”
