The Lions know that they are organized by Super -Rugby teams that have written history, but Sheehan, the Ireland skipped in the Six Nations, explains that they will not have a monopoly for passion.
“It is important to know where the attitude of the opposition is and how they approach a game that only comes every 12 years, as is the case for the western armed forces,” said the 26-year-old, who is one of nine players on matchday 23 to give their lionbuks.

“It was difficult, because over the weeks we still thought we had a struggle chance to return to Leinster at the end of the season, but it was simply not right. It would have been very risky to add something.
“As desperate as they are to get to the pitch, they also have a situation in which they cannot drive forward.
“In a way, you can live with yourself because you do everything you can to get out of there. If you can’t, you can’t.”
