Chloe Kelly is happy how England Subs clicked on Euro 2025

The English sisterhood of replacement pieces at the Euro 2025 has its own WhatsApp group and now not so secret celebration, striker Chloe Kelly announced.

Kelly scored the most memorable goal from the bank in the history of the lionesses when she won in England in the 2-1 victory in England against Germany at the European Championship final 2022 in Wembley, where she increased her first major trophy.

On Sunday, after Beth Mead and Aggie Beever-Jones scored in the second half of the 6-1 victory in England about Wales and the rest of the bank and the rest of the bank with a round of snapshots, she celebrated a gesture that even confused some of her own teammates.

“I think it’s great,” said Kelly. “We have a small group of ourselves, the finisher, as they call it, the ‘positive clicks’ we call on the bench.

“People said:” What do you do? “But it was just a positive click, and we said that if one of us appeared and evaluated, let’s do it as our celebration.

“Yes, it is great. We work very hard, on the training ground, in the gym, this is probably sometimes unnoticed, but it is about keeping together, it is best to be best when you are requested and train hard to get the best apart.

“Also make sure that the girls who start the game are fully prepared, but make sure that we are fully prepared to go on the place and do a great job.”

Midfielder Ella Toone was completely amazed when she joined the celebration.

“I had no idea what it meant,” she admitted in the official podcast of the lionesses. “I said, ‘Maya (Le Tissier), what are you doing?’ And she said, ‘It’s just a bank.’ “

The captain of Manchester United, Le Tissier, believes Kelly, pens the group chat “to send each other pictures of the click celebration”.

Kelly added: “I said to Lotte (Wubben-Moy), during the tournaments in which we played whether this was the home euro or the Australia (World Cup 2023), the group of finishers was incredible and supported the team that is played and ready for their moment.

“The extent of the training is really high and transplanted in the gym. So it was really nice to see that this is a consistent topic with England. The finishers were ready for their moment and take it when it comes.”

For Kelly, who was so dissatisfied in January with her situation in Manchester City – including a lack of time lack – it was remarkable for Kelly that she went on social media to publicly exercise her frustrations.

She finally secured a loan with her former Club Arsenal and, after she had raised a permanent deal in an outstanding second half of the season and with the Gunners with a Champions League trophy.

When asked whether she sees a way to Sarina Wiegmans Start XI this summer, Kelly replied: “We’ll see what happens. We don’t choose the team, but we know that we have to be best to give the team everything.”
