Charley Hull retired from the Evian Championship after a breakdown after a discount in the first round. The Englishwoman was taken out of the course in a medical car in Major, French on Thursday morning.
According to reports from the event, Hull sat on the side of a bunker on the 3rd hole and clearly looked uncomfortable. After a 15-minute medical break, Hull hit her tee on the 4. and sagged to the ground.

She properly withdrew from the tournament, whereby the broadcasters reported that the world No. 19 had suffered from a non -specified virus. Hulls Management was contacted for an update for her situation.
The 29-year-old Hull had started her round in the French mountains on the 10th and was one under par.
It remains to be seen whether Hull will recover from July 31 for the last major in the women’s calendar, the British Open at Royal Porthcawl. It should appear in the Scottish Open last week.

Hull remains in her name without a big win, in each of her last two appearances the 12th place. In 2022 she shared third place in Evian.
Leona Maguire shot a 65 to claim an early proportion of the Evian leadership. The 68 of the English amateur Lottie Woad has recently been excellent. WAAD will earn an LPGA tour card if it ends in France.
