The English captain Ben Stokes believed that the risk of his long -term fitness was simply not worth it after being excluded from the decisive fifth test against India with a right shoulder injury.
Stokes, whose deputy Ollie Pope will lead the team in his absence, fought against a variety of problems in the course of the Rothesay series and was finally carried out with a problem that imposed on his head during the draw in Old Trafford last week.

It is replaced by Jacob Bethell and occurs in one of four changes in England XI.
It is assumed that Stokes has suffered a muscle tear in Grad-three, which means that significant discharge on the all-rounder expects a recovery period between six and seven weeks after the beginning of his rehabilitation.
England only plays the ashes this winter test cricket.
“I am obviously disappointing not to be able to end the series,” said an emotional stokes when he addressed a press conference on Wednesday morning.
“I have a decent tear of one of the muscles that I cannot say, I don’t know how to say it, but we have as long as we could to make this decision.

“A little emotions go into this type of thing when you find out what you did – bowling was excluded as soon as we achieved the scan results.
“But you need this time with the medical team, BAZ, then only 20 minutes for me out there in the morning to really make it clear that the decision we made clear.”
Stokes added: “It was one of those in which they weigh up the risk confidence, and the risk was far too high to damage us further than at the moment.
“I would not expect to endanger one of my players with such an injury.
“I will now start rehabilitation and obviously concentrate on what we have in winter.

“Obviously I am very disappointed, but I needed a little more time to give this kind of things to make a decision, and it helps that we have a really good, strong squad from which we can choose to bring out a team that we believe that we can win this week.”
Liam Dawson was dropped into his comeback, with England decided on a spinner from the front, while pace couple Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse are rested.
Three fresh quicks come into the side, with Surrey Pair Gus Atkinson and Jamie Overton completing the line -up on domestic soil and Josh Tongue.
