Rushworth signed for Coventry City for an annual loan while Beadle is in Birmingham City.
Ryan Allsop was number 1 in Birmingham last season and stays on board.
Neither he nor Beadle gave the number 1 squad.
The blues boss Chris Davies said: “I had this last year with Bailey (Peacock-Farrell). I signed two goalkeepers and none of them had the number one shirt, for the reason that they both were the number.
“There was a competition there, Bailey started in the goal, Ryan held the shirt and he didn’t let go.
“James is a really talented young goalkeeper. He had great success in the euro with England and knows what form Ryan was last year and what fantastic effects he has.
