Kaden Groves won the 20th stage of the Tour de France on Saturday and avoided a crash on slippery roads before driving a solo triumph on the 184.2 km long journey from Nantua. The defending champion Tadej Pogacar had his lead over Jonas Vingegaard before the 21st and power amplifier on Sunday in Paris.

Grove’s skills could be seen when he managed to have torn Ivan Romeo and France Romain Gregoire outside of the control of a wet descent 21 kilometers before the finish.
The Alpecin Deceuninck driver then attacked a reduced breakaway pile and never looked back into the remaining 17 kilometers, whereby he broke out in tears in a mixture of unbelief and exhaustion.
Groves, who won his team on this year’s tour, after Jasper Philipsen and Mathieu van der Poel also won, seven Vuelta and two Giro d’Italia stage victories.
The 26-year-old, who is used to winning from Bunch Sprints, beamed with pride after an unforgettable journey.

“There is so much pressure on the tour, and after winning in the Giro after I won in the Vuelta, I am ever asked if I am good enough to win on the tour? And now I will show her,” said GroVes.
“It’s my first win, so it’s pretty incredible.”
Dutch Frank van den Broek took second place with his compatriot Pascal Eenkhoorn, 54 seconds later, five seconds.
The defending champion Tadej Pogacar spent a quiet day in the main pelon and took another step towards a fourth tour title when he will keep the yellow jersey of his overall leader with a lead of 4:24 to Denmark Jonas Vingegaard and will celebrate the victory when he avoids on Sunday.

The last phase is a 132.3 km journey from Mantes-La-Jolie to Paris, where the Peloton builds the famous Butte Montmartre three times before the last rounds on the Champs-Elysees.
