The last victory of England against the Kangaroos came 30 years ago, while her latest victory of the Ashes Series 25 years earlier in 1970 was Great Britain as Great Britain.

With the three-test competition, England will compete in Australia for the first time since the Rugby League World Cup final in 2017 and will also be the first Ashes series since 2003 when the kangaroos recently toured in Great Britain under the Great Britain.

And despite the long gap between the rates of the legendary series, Hills explained the hunger of the Australian players and the public that more victories over England did not subside during this time.

“There is such a pride in Australia, especially for the rugby league, but in every sport when it comes to beating England,” said the 55-year-old native of Sydney.

“If you play England, you want to go away with a white laundry, you don’t want you to score. You want it to be a cricket-Ashes series where you would say like Glenn McGrath, you will win 5-0.

“And I know that the Australians will come here to make sure they win.

“But your attitude will not only be to win the series or just win every game, it will be to absolutely destroy England in all three games and try to ensure that you do not achieve a point.”

Hills, who organizes the last leg, was a member of the Australian team at the first Rugby League World Championship of Physical Disabilities in 2022 and hopes to promote a rugby league for disabilities as far as possible through his role as RFL President.

“Regardless of sport, there must be an ashes in England against Australia,” he continued.

“I have played the rugby league for the disability and have been since his presidency and already before the time I can do that to ensure that the Rugby league gives disability at the next World Cup.

“We did it once and it can’t be one -off. And I also think that there should also be a rugby league ash in a disability.

“I really want it to be one thing.”

Hills spoke 100 days during a starting event in London until the 2025 Ashes series begins.

The series begins on Saturday, October 25th, at the Wembley Stadium, before going to Liverpool a week later on Saturday, November 1st, where a sold-out Bramley-Moore-Dock focus.

The Headingley Stadium of Leeds Rhinos is the place for the third and last test on Saturday, November 8th, which is also a sale.

On the first day of the priority sales window, over 60,000 tickets were sold, which was a record-breaking number for every start of the Rugby League.

Hills forecast a close series and expressed his wish for a winner that corresponds to the third test.

“It will be finished 2-1 for someone,” he said.

“The rugby league will be the winner and I think this last game in Headingley will be incredible.

“Don’t you want to play as an Australian?

“I’m absolutely pumped for this match.”
