Cannes is the latest European goal that has driven tourism with “drastic” cruise ships

Cruise ships that wear more than 1,000 passengers are prohibited in Cannes because the French Riviera Resort moves to impose strict new regulations for the industry.

Cannes, known for his legendary annual film festival and status as a glamorous global tourist hotspot, is now referring to Oppourism with Venice and other European goals.

This is followed by the latest turmoil of residents in Venice via Jeff Bezos’ wedding with Lauren Sanchez when they accused the CEO of treating the historical city as a private playground.

Last week the news broke out that the Amazon founder had “rented out” parts of Venice for the multi-day celebrations, forced the residents out and triggered a partial city eligibility.

The Venetians were not satisfied with the move and in the days before the ceremony, angry demonstrations broke out, with demonstrators bore banners who were “no room for bezos” and sang against corporate greed.

The increasing public pressure finally forced the CEO to get the main ceremony out of the city center.

On Friday, city councilors of the French Riviera Resort voted for the introduction of new borders or “drastic regulation” on cruise ships in ports from next year.

Only ships with fewer than 1,000 passengers are approved in the port, with a maximum of 6,000 passengers pouring out per day.

It is expected that larger ships are transferred to smaller boats to enter Cannes.

Mayor David Lisnard said: “Cannes has become an important goal for cruise ships with real economic advantages.

“It’s not about forbidden cruise ships, but about regulating, organizing, organizing guidelines for their navigation.”
