Clarets Sign Defender Axel Tuanzebe when IPWICH

Burnley has strengthened her defensive options by adding Axel Tuanzebe when IPWICH Town.

The 27-year-old will officially join the Clarets when his deal has expired on the Portman Road on July 1st.

Tuanzebe started in the ranks of Manchester United and gave his senior debut in 2017

He continued to do 37 appearances in Old Trafford and to have the team once in a league dungeon against Rochdale.

Duanzebe also had three loan spells in Aston Villa and helped the Midlands Club back to the Premier League in 2019.

The defense lawyer went to Napoli in the second half of the 2021/22 campaign and was also in Stoke City in Stint before he came to Ipswich in 2023.

He helped the tractor boys to extract actions from the championship and played 22 games in the top class last season.

Tuanzebe was offered fresh terms in the Portman Road, but chose the SCOTT Parker squad when Burnley prepared for life in the Premier League.

“I’m very happy to be here,” he said the Club website. “It became a very simple decision after talking to the manager, and the news was very clear, precise and directly to the point.

“It is a new chapter for me, back near Manchester and at home, and I’m ready to continue my trip in Burnley.”

Duanzebe is the second signing of Clarets of the day after the Dutch International Quilindschy Hartman from Feyenoord arrived.

Burnley also brought German goalkeeper Max Weiß from Karlsruher SC on Wednesday.
