Lottie Woad loses more open in women, while Miyu Yamashita set a pace

Lottie Woad continued to lose at the AIG Women’s Open

WAAD, tournament favorite in just her second event as a professional after winning the Scottish Open last week, after her sixth birdie of the day on the 14th indictment before suffering a big setback on Par-Four 16.

Japan’s Yamashita followed her first 68 with a Bogy-Free 65 to open a three-shot lead over compatriot and joint overnight head Rio Takeda, who card recorded a 69 on another stormy day in Royal Porthcawl.

WAAD, Wales’ Darcey Harry and the American world number one Nelly Korda belong to another group of eight years, which will reach 11th place in two years.

Surreys Woad, who also won the Irish Open and took third place in her last weeks as an amateur at the Evian Championship, began the day after five shots behind the leaders after a level of the first round.

New Zealand’s defending champion Lydia Ko stormed out of the dispute after publishing a second 73 -year -old 73 against two times, while American Lillia Vu, the Open Champion 2023, left the average after 74 and 77 against her seven.
