Manchester United achieved two victories with a 4-1 win against Bournemouth in the pre-season tournament of the Premier League on Wednesday.

The goals of Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo and Teenager Ethan Williams sealed an encouraging result for Ruben Amorim’s side on a rainy, wind -flogged soldier field.

United, who opened her tour with a 2-1 win against West Ham on Saturday, always had control over the cherries and took the lead through Hojlund after only eight minutes.

Dorgu rolled together in an inviting cross from the left flank and international team-mate Hojlund in Denmark and jumped his course and jumped perfectly to throw a header past Bournemouth goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.

Dorgu doubled United’s leadership in the 25th minute and adhered to a clever, quick free kick from Mason Mount, who went into the area and pushed a cool finish under the advancing Petrovic.

Diallo bundled in the 53rd minute before Amorim made nine changes 20 minutes ago.

The replacement of Williams only took two minutes to make a impact into the lower corner to reach United 4-0.

The only flaw in the performance of United was his own goal of Matthijs de Ligt with 88th minute.

In the other Premier League-Friendly in Chicago on Wednesday, West Ham came from behind to beat the former manager David Moyes’ Everton 2-1.

Idrissa Gueye hired Everton 1-0 against the Brazilian international Lucas Paqueta, after 17 minutes before the recovery of West Ham. The 64th minute strike from Germany Niclas Fullkrug sealed the victory of the hammers.

The result was another disappointing setback before the season for Everton, which was beaten 3-0 on Saturday by Bournemouth.

“I am not excessive because I don’t have the players I need and what I want,” said Everton boss Moyes afterwards.

“We knew before we (to the USA) came that we would really be against it. So it would never be that we would come and win here.”

“At the moment we are not ready to play well enough in this tournament, and we are not ready to start the Premier League season.”

The four-team competition ends on Sunday in Atlanta, with United competing against Everton and West Ham against Bournemouth.
