Passengers evacuate Boeing jet after tires have been blown out

The passengers had to evacuate from a Boeing flight after the aircraft tires had blown out on the runway.

The American Airlines Flight 3023 prepared to leave Denver International Airport to Miami on Saturday when he had “a mechanical problem” before the start, the airline said.

After a number of important failures, the incident raises further questions about Boeing’s security record.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced in a statement on Sunday that the crew on board the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft had reported a possible chassis during the departure at 2:45 p.m. (9.45 a.m.).

All 173 passengers and six crew members have “planned safely”, but a passenger suffered a minor injury and was taken to a hospital for evaluation, said the airline.

The video shows passengers who use the evacuation slide to leave the plane out of the fuselage as a smoke, some with young children. Several people can be seen as they fall on the asphalt while they land.

Mark Tsurkis, 50, a passenger on board the flight, told ABC News that he heard “a loud boom” when the plane was shortly before the plane was lifted.

“I said,” This is not good, “said Tsurkis. At that time, the plane began to slow down and the passengers could see how one of the bikes could get past.

“When the plane lasted about 30 seconds until a minute later, someone said: ‘Rauch, fire’. And then of course a lot of people started panicking,” said Tsurkis.

Shay Armistead, a 17-year-old passenger who went to Santiago, Chile, for a ski tour, told CNN that the ordeal was “a kind of traumatization” on Saturday.

When the plane went down the runway, the passengers heard a loud bang and believed that the tire had been banged, said Armistead.

“The plane began to vibrate and tremble. We started to tip over the left side of the runway, and then we heard the sound of the wind from them, which lift the brakes of the aircraft and hit them really hard on them.”

The airline said: “We thank our team members for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for their experience.”

The FAA said that it examined the incident.

Boeing has been strongly criticized in recent years because of a number of mistakes. In June, the National Transportation Safety Board blown up the Boeing Security Culture and the failure that a cabin committee was sucked in the middle of the air during a flight in January 2024.

The board said that the company had not installed four most important screws in a new Alaska Airlines 737 Max 9 during production.

The evacuation on Sunday is also in the middle of concerns regarding flight safety in the USA for a number of recent accidents and almost errors.

On Friday, a flight in Southwest Airlines dipped in the middle of the air so as not to collide with another plane on the way to Las Vegas and to injure two flight attendants.

In January, a collision between a trading aircraft in downtown Washington and a military helicopter killed 67 people.

In May, the government of US President Donald Trump announced plans to revise its “antiquated” air traffic control system, which suffers from a lack of controllers in FAA-managed towers.

The government has released hundreds of FAA employees as part of its plan to reduce the federal employees.
