Tesla tests completely self -driving car in London and Swindon

Tesla demonstrates the fully self -driving skills of his cars in tests on public roads in Great Britain.

The manufacturer of electric vehicles published two videos in which a car -3 car was negotiated with the center of London and the magical roundabout of Swindon, while the person at the driver’s seat does not hold the steering wheel.

The three-minute clip shot in London shows the car that deals with street work and on the landmarks such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Downing Street.

According to Tesla, the model 3 used for videos contains the same hardware as today’s vehicles that are currently only available for the software for its engineers.

The company is waiting for the official approval to use its unattended complete self -driving skills in Great Britain.

Steve Gooding, director of the charity organization of the RAC Foundation of Motoring Research, said: “It is a mistake to believe that driverless technology cannot be finished with the subtleties and peculiarities of the UKS streets -hats before everyone or anything that can successfully negotiate the magical roundabout.

“The challenge for the supervisory authorities – and the gnawing concern in the minds of potential passengers – is to ensure that these vehicles can manage in any combination of circumstances to which they could meet, including those in which human drivers around them are less inclined to adhere to the rules.

“The self -driving vehicles for regulatory tests do not have to exist whether they can finish with our streets on a certain day, but whether they can get ready every day under any combination of circumstances to which they could meet.”

On Monday, the government started a consultation about which rules have to hit self -driving taxis in the future.
