Satellite tracker Spaceflux achieved with £ 5 million

A British space surveillance company that has won a number of government contracts will announce a fundraiser of 5.4 million GBP this week to expand its global network of advanced telescopes.

Sky News assumes that Spaceflux, which was founded three years ago, secured capital in one round, which is cited by the British Innovation & Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), which is managed by Future Planet Capital, Foresight Group and Blackfinch Ventures.

Seraphim Space, the listed specialist investor in space -related companies, also provides funding.

Spaceflux uses artificial intelligence and optical sensors to pursue satellites and debris across all organs, whereby the daylight tracking ability can expand the observation window beyond night operations.

The provision of space situations consciousness technologies increases growing because a one -week disorder of satellite navigation could lead to a value of 7.6 billion GBP for the British economy.

In an explanation of Sky News, Marco Rocchetto, CEO and co -founder of Spaceflux,: “Since the space for our economy, our environment and our daily life is becoming increasingly important, it is becoming more and more overloaded and controversial.

“This investment strengthens our ability to protect satellite technology that provides crucial insights into the earth around the clock, reduces collision risks and supports a safer, more sustainable space environment for future generations.”

Spaceflux, which serves government and commercial customers, has been the exclusive provider of the geostationary satellite tracking for the Ministry of Defense and the British spacise agency since 2023.
