Gerwyn Price was involved in a heated exchange with the opponent Daryl Gurney after the Welshman sealed a 10: 7 victory in her World Matchplay in the first round in Blackpool.
The couple shared a robust handshake after Price completed the victory against Double 12 before Gurney had problems with the celebrations of his competitor on stage.

Gurney had fallen back 6-2, but gave himself hope by winning the ninth leg and was celebrated by the imitation of Price’s trademark.
The northern Irish moved within an arrow to level the match with 8-8 before the price, the finalist 2022, his nerve to remove and seal the victory.
Gurney’s compatriot Josh Rock, with whom he won the Darts World Cup last month, went better when he achieved a 10: 5 victory against the 14th seed Ross Smith.
Rock stolen the first five legs without seeing his opponent a double, and the 24-year-old ended with an average of 104 to take revenge against the same player for the first year.

Rock will be against Michael van Gerwen next, who was far away when he scored a strenuous 10: 6 victory against his Dutch rival Raymond van Barneveld.
Van Gerwen, a three -time winner, took a number of missed chances of his opponent and admitted that he had hardly taken a satisfaction from his performance.

“I made it so difficult and if you make it difficult, it’s a hard game,” van Gerwen told Sky Sports.
“From the position I come from, I didn’t play a lot of tournaments, and that makes it difficult. We all know that I am a winner, I hate losing it, and I think it’s the beginning of something nice.”
