England is “optimistic” that captain Leah Williamson will be willing to provide Italy in the semi -finals Euro 2025.

But on Saturday at a press conference, Morgan suggested that Williamson’s injury is not as bad as feared first and could be available to start the semi -finals.
“We are very optimistic that Leah will be available,” said Morgan. “She seemed to be in a very high mood this morning. I want what is best for the team, and that is absolutely our captain on the field for us.

“[My preparation] Is the same as with every single game, be ready to play when I am needed, I will know the role and be absolutely ready in the next few days to train at a high level.
“But we are very optimistic that Leah will be in order.”
The English players, who were presented in the quarter -finals of the Euro 2025, had a day of recovery on Friday before they started their preparations for the semi -finals on Tuesday, and two training days were planned behind closed doors for Saturday and Sunday.
