The crew of Axiom Mission-4 (AX-4) returned from the international space station to Earth this week and left the seven expedition 73 astronauts and cosmonauts to continue research and maintenance activities on board the circulation laboratory.
Orbital observation
The “most magical place on earth”, as it is seen from a “star” at the top.
The expedition 73 flight engineer Anne McClain, a NASA astronaut, took this photo of Orlando, Florida – in the Walt Disney World and Universal Studios theme – during a night overpass through the international space.
“Orlando has a surprising amount of orange sodium steam lighting,” wrote NASA astronaut Don Pettit and reacted to McClain’s photo.

Scientific status
The research carried out by the Expedition 73 crew on board the space station this week included:
CIPHER – NASA astronauts Jonny Kim, Nichole Ayers and Anne McClain took part in studies that were part of the “addition of integrated protocols for researching human exploration at different mission duration”. Kim and McClain used an ultrasound machine to measure blood flow, while Ayers and McClain used virtual reality to test how microgravity affects the sense of balance.
Muscle stimulation – Ayers and Kim worked together to examine whether sending electrical impulses into the legs of astronauts can add the exercise to combat muscle atrophy. Ayers wore the electrodes while Kim operated the equipment.
Real-time scans – McClain also attracted electrodes for two ultrasound scans, which were monitored by doctors on site. The data collected support a ongoing examination of the cardiovascular risks of the long room flight.
Roscosmos Cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Kirill Peskov also ran on a treadmill to determine how much physical activity is required to remain ready to carry out space paths and to be exposed to increased gravity loads when they return to earth.

The expedition 73 crew also devoted itself to time to maintain the systems of the space station, including:
Boost -A Russian traceaculation, progress MS-30 (91p), which was docked in the eighth port of the Zvezda service module, fired its engines for about 12 minutes on Wednesday (July 16) to give the space station an orbital boost to arrive at the next crew at the beginning of next month.
Microgravitation measuring apparatus – Expedition 73 Commander Takuya Onishi with Jaxa replaced a device that traces the Kibo laboratory in response to the movements of the crew and space vehicles, and movements that could affect the research carried out in the module.
Catalytic reactor – Anne McClain replaced a component of the water processing assembly of the station, which adds oxygen and oxidized the organic substances in the collected wastewater.

Axiom Mission 4
After 18 days in the international space station, the Axiom Mission 4 crew was on earth on board SpaceX ‘Dragon SpaceCraft “” Grace “this week. Commandant Peggy Whitson, Pilot Shubhanshu Shuckla and mission specialist Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and Tibor Kapu on Tuesday (July 15th) sprayed off the coast of California.
The four crew members carried out more than 60 scientific experiments from 31 countries – more than any other commercial mission – who examined organic acid research, carry out material research, observe the earth and demonstrate new technologies. Whitson, Shuckla, Uznański-Wiśniewski Adn Kapu also took part in 20 Outreach events and spoke to scientists, students and government officials.
According to the numbers
From Friday (July 18) there will be 7 people On board the international space station: Expedition 73 Commandant Takuya Onishi by Jaxa, Anne McClain, Nichole Ayers and Jonny Kim von Nasa and Kirill Peskov, Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zurbritsky from Roscosmos, Allen Engingers.
AX-4 Commander Peggy Whitson, Pilot Shubhanshu Shucla from ISRO and mission specialist Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski from Esa and Tibor Kapu von Hunor returned on Tuesday (July 15) on the Earth on SpaceX ‘Dragon “Grace”.
There are Two Docked Crew spaceships: SpaceX ‘dragon “endurance”, which is attached to the earth-made port of the Prichal node on the forward connection of the Harmony module and Roscosmos’ Soyuz MS-27.
There are Two devotion vehicles: Roscosmos’ Progress MS-30 (91p), which was connected to the AFT port of the Zvezda service module, and the progress MS-31 (92P), which was docked at the memory-related port of the Poisk module.
From Friday the space station was continuously occupied 24 years, 8 months and 17 days.
