The landlords fell both Facebook and WhatsApp as methods for the activity of calls, since British increasingly avoid traditional phones in favor of smartphone equivalents.
Facebook uses more than half of the adults in Great Britain to make language or video calls, while 83PC WhatsApp use of OFCOM according to new data. In contrast, only 28 percent British make a landline.

The latest figures from OFCOM show that WhatsApp has had the strongest use in the past 12 months in the past 12 months. 40 percent of the people stated to use the app to make calls more than in previous years. In contrast, almost half of the landline stated that the service was less use.
While mobile phone networks remain by far the most popular method for a call, with 96 percent of the population you use, the numbers show how the rapid growth of messaging apps has changed communication.
The majority of the respondents do not use landline or reducing their use that they would do this due to the availability of online and mobile equivalents.
When asked why they decided to make online apps, most people quoted the fact that they were freely used. They also pointed out the convenience and the fact that they were used by family and friends.
While video calls became increasingly popular during the covid closures, the survey suggested that the demand are stalling because the British return to the office and choose personal meetings.
Almost two thirds of the British said they would rather make a voice call than a video call, while just halved it would rather send a text than make a call. Only 16 percent of the respondents said they would rather make a video call rather than meet personally.
