Scientists observe a solar system that is born for the first time

Scientists have to see how another solar system was born for the first time.

With a powerful telescope, the researchers saw the first pieces of material that are led on planets.

A solar system has never been seen in its formation so early. The researchers hope that the groundbreaking discovery will make a new understanding of how such systems form – including our own.

The results are “a picture of the baby sun system,” said Merel van ‘t Hoff, professor at Purdue University, USA, and co-author of the new study. “We see a system that looks what our solar system looked like when it was just forming.”

The new system is born for Hops-315, a baby star that is about 1300 light years away. Researchers believe that it looks like our sun has done in their youth.

These baby stars often have “protoplanetar slices” around them, which consist of dust and gas, which ultimately clump together and form the beginnings of planets. Researchers have previously seen massive newborn planets in these discs, but they have now discovered these baby planets when they begin to form.

The work is described in a new paper, “refractory firm condensation Nature.
