Reports have claimed that this type of “swap” is in the works. Liverpool is ready to offer Konate plus 41 million US dollars -a proposal that Real Madrid finds “tempting”, although Rodrygo estimates a total of around 116 million dollars.
But even if Liverpool’s “proposal” is a little short, the sale of Diaz would collect more than enough money to close the gap. It could be a deal that works for all parties.

However, there is a case that Liverpool could be even more ambitious. Rodrygo would be a pretty good replacement for Diaz and he is younger, but it is difficult to say that he would be a real upgrade – so it should try for Vinicius jr instead.
According to Defensa Central, Liverpool prepare a total package of $ 151 million for Vinicius if Diaz leaves. Since Konate is also taken into account, this price could drop to around 116 million US dollars.
It is clear that it is a bit of a long shot. But in contrast to Rodrygo, Vinicius really and undoubtedly pretend to be first -class performance, which is a step upwards from Diaz.
