Our other top selection of the trend truck this season is the low-top chewing gum Puma Palermo, which our fashion editor Jodie Dunworth bought instead of sambas. “I chose the black and white couple with brown rubber valleys, especially because my Samba size was never in stock,” she says.
Although we are still looking forward to the Alohas, which we consider as a cheaper but equally chic alternative to the legendary Miu Miu leather touring shoes.

At the other end of the practical scale, wild leather coaches are on the advance of the trend for suede jackets and bags. Under the direction of the Miu Miu X New Balance couple, which was all over your Instagram feed, you are certainly chic. However, remember to use protective spray or sealing before you set off because we all know how bad suede can dye in wet weather (and we get a lot of it!).

While junely shoes are very popular, retro sneakers are also. We have also seen a revival of our beloved Converse trainers who coordinate with every outfit.
Trend trendrainer colors
With regard to color trends, classic black and white designs are timeless and easy to style. But we also see richer, steamed tones, with chocolate brown, brownish and camel colors that take over the color of the moment, especially in suede.
Dakota Johnson campaigned for the Retro Nike Cortez by Forrest Gump Fame and worn her in chocolate brown with desperate white jeans and a tonal jacket. Not sold on Brown? Try similar tones, beige and coffee – basically every earthy color that reflects the natural world is a softer alternative to hunting black colors and happens to fit with all its clothes.

Silver trainers are also tilted by fashion insiders – ideal to add metallic zing to a reserved neutral look. Then of course you can’t go wrong with leopard prints, which definitely includes instructors.
